  One of the most famous buildings in PEI would be the house that Lucy Maud Montgomery lived in and the house that Anne's home was based off. This lovely building is located in The Prince Edward Island National Park, 8619 Cavendish Rd, Cavendish. I find this house a very remarkable and beautiful place. If you have read the books you will feel a connection to it or if you have watched the musical. Even if you have no connection to the house it is a beautiful property and has a very nice garden.

  My wife really liked it. Nice grounds and trails and I read that the house is an accurate representation of the house in the book. Lots of park employees to talk to for information. Not too interesting if you haven't read the books.

  Absolutely wonderful. One of the high points of our trip to PEI. This lovingly preserved and maintained farm is idyllic and well worth your time if you're on the island. Don't miss the Lovers Lane stroll...it was beautiful. Friendly staff and easy access to the site. One area under construction as of June 2017, which appears to be a restaurant or something.

  This made for great morning outing, that included touring of a historical home and some beautiful outdoor walks. It gives a real sense of the history and environment that inspired the Anne of Green Gables novels. Bring a camera!

  Prepare for lines and strangers in your photos if you're going to visit any time between June and September. The trails are beautiful, but expect some bugs in the warmer months. We enjoyed our visit here.
